Cedar came to rural children’s aid

In March 2019, Cedar Foundations together with its kind-hearted clients and the Southern Daily, donated about 20,000 educational books and went to Bijie together to accelerate the implementation of the public welfare project “Southern Weekly Ark-Children Protection Plan”.



Southern Weekly Ark-Children Protection Plan, co-initiated by Southern Weekly and China Social Welfare Foundation is meant to ensure a safe growth for leave-behind children in rural areas and migrant children in urban areas. Cedar Holdings have conducted researches and discussions with Bijie government officials over the issue about those leave-behind children, made donations to the local area, learned inside out the living and education of the leave-behind children through interactions with teachers and students there.


According to Zhu Qiang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Southern Weekly, as a socially responsible company, Cedar Holdings has given attention to and supported the development of public welfare undertakings for a long time. The company has contributed a lot to building schools and other education aids for children. Cedar's support for Southern Weekly Ark - Children Protection Plan is also an important task for its targeted poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation through education.
